Although in Texas it is still hot and humid I am starting to see resemblance of what looks like it might be Fall. Despite what it might feel like I am rebelling against the weatherman and wearing my boots, dang it! In the spirit of this rebellion the fam and I decided to have some fall family fun at the pumpkin patch a few weekends ago and it was the perfect day for Camilla to run around for her first time at pumpkin patch. Last year I had mom guilt big time because on the last day before the pumpkin patch turned into the Christmas tree farm is the day I decided for us to go. I was so excited to take my new baby for her obligatory picture in the sea of pumpkins, but wouldn’t you know on that last day there was a flash flood! Well this year we made up for it and had a great time!
My absolute favorite part about Fall is the fashion. By nature I am always cold anyway so any excuse to bundle up and wear cold weather clothes will do! At the pumpkin patch I was mindful of the heat, but still managed to be Fall-chic in booties, leggings, and a hat #winning. Olive green has been my go-to neutral color so far this season but my outfit for the patch was all about the accessories!
My wood watch from JORD is everything. Seriously. made from all natural wood it goes perfectly with all of my favorite fall colors. It’s light weight and a showstopper…I literally got stopped by someone at the pumpkin patch complementing me on it.
Even Cameron who is all about his Apple watch told he he wanted a JORD watch for Christmas! With their assortment of women’s and men’s watches I am sure a few people in my family will be getting one of these beauties in their stockings from yours truly! Lucky for one of you, Christmas is about to come early!

Wooden Watch Review
Some of the highlights of the pumpkin patch were:
1. waving to the hay riders (Cameron couldn’t get on the hay due to allergies so we just waved instead.)
2. The wagons. Cami was completely undone by the fact that there were so many wagons to choose from!
3. All of the stickers. This 1 1/2 year old is in the middle of a huge sticker phase. I want to formally apologize to the pumpkin patch workers who put the price tag stickers on all the individual pumpkins that my child removed to put on her face!
4. Trying to pick up the pumpkins. Pumpkins twice her weight…mainly to see if the stickers were at the bottom.
As Fall continues to push forward into winter I am excited to do more family activities. Now that Camilla is older, she is starting to understand what’s going on with holidays and that’s super fun…I guess that means Cameron and I have to actually put some real thought into getting her Christmas gifts this year, haha!
