Since this will be the first year that Cami really knows what’s going on with the whole Christmas thing, I decided to go ahead and start her expectation level the right way for our family by streamlining some things early on.
As I started getting closer and closer to the delivery of our son, I noticed that our daughter Camilla was having more and more difficulty sleeping. I knew that it wouldn’t fly when the baby arrived and something needed to be done. With the help of DockATot we were able to aid Cami in kicking her sleep regression just in time for the arrival of her baby brother.
I’m 3 weeks in being a mom of 2 ya’ll, and Cameron and I are slowly and sleepily getting into the routine of the new normal. My neighborhood recently had the grand opening of H-E-B within walking distance from my house and since it’s open my grocery shopping life has been at an all time high with the convenience of H-E-B Curbside.
Being that this is my second child, it is really easy to be more lax about things that you were so adamant about with the first child. In an effort to make Hendrix’s arrival just as special as his big sister’s, I sat down this weekend and crafted a baby hospital door wreath as unique as his name.
I am pleased to say that I am at the 11th hour of my pregnancy! I survived the summer heat and humidity, a hurricane, and potty training toddler and lived to tell the tale. All the necessary preparations that come with having a baby have been checked off my list (packing a bag, preparing my toddler, penning a birth plan) and now I can focus on feeling whole mind, body, and spirit. Today I am joining with certified yoga instructor Shaina as she guides me through 6 must do pregnancy yoga poses for 3rd trimester.
