My Favorite Things 2022

I thought I would kick off the New Year with some of my favorite things of 2022 so far. A lot of this post is inspired by things I asked for for Christmas or items I want to share that are helping me to start the New Year off right. My favorite things list comes complete with products and items that I have used, that are tried and true, and that I have been using on the regular. Cheers to the New Year, cheers to 2022!

New Balance Sneakers– I have been eyeing these babies since the summer and Cameron totally came through by remembering to have them for me under the tree. They are super comfortable and support my feet in all the right places. But I really can’t get over the Cheetah print (which is basically a neutral I can wear with everything)!

Ribbed Leggings– I may have bought 4 pairs of the same leggings because I love them so much. I love the high waist and there is something about the ribbed that I like better than plain old leggings. That added texture makes me feel as though they are more versatile.

Fringe USB Keychain– My sister-in-law has one of these and I thought that it was such a good idea. Naturally I got this one too and I love that it’s cute enough to clip on anywhere (mainly my purses) and I always have a USB and charger wherever I go.

Olive & June Nail Primer and Top Coat– I’m totally thrilled that Target is now carrying Olive & June. A friend of mine introduced me to this nail primer and top coat and I haven’t looked back since. I truly feel as though it makes my polish last longer than without anything at all.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo– I got this book on a whim while browsing a local book store and once I started, I couldn’t put it down! It took be back to the golden age of Hollywood and I loved imagining the characters. There were a lot of fun twists and turns and I totally would recommend this for a book club read or an easy beach read.

Erasable Gel Pens– I got these pens when I ordered my 2022 planner. I love that there are so many color choices so that I can allot a color for each person in my family. The best part, they are erasable! No more having to scratch out times and cancelled events.

Saints & Sinners Leave-In Conditioner– I have been using this conditioner for a few years now. Ever since I stopped getting relaxers and started going natural I knew I needed something to make my now thicker roots easier to comb through. If your hair is difficult to comb after being wet, I would highly recommend this leave-in. Spray it on, comb through, and style.

Turtle Neck Sweater– Tis the season to need to be warm and cozy. The main thing that I love about is specific sweater is that it covers your butt when wearing leggings. It comes is several colors and is super soft.

Earrings– When I wear these earrings, they are 100% the star of my outfit. A bonus is that they are handmade. I love supporting small shops.

Goli Gummy Vitamins– I love Goli vitamins! My favorite are the Apple Cider Vinegar (red) and the Ashwaganda (blue). The apple cider helps me feel energized and increases my metabolism. The ashwa helps regulate my nerves. It’s a part of my daily routine and great idea if you are wanting to make some healthy choices staring in the New Year.

CeraVe Night Facial Moisturizer– I swear by CeraVe PM. I started feeling discouraged about the condition of my face after all the mask wearing. I was breaking out especially around my chin and mouth. My dermatologist recommended over hauling my facial routine and introduced me to CeraVe PM. Since adding this to my routine, my face has done a 180!

Philips Sonicare Electric Toothbrush– I have recommended this before and I will do it again. My dentist recommended this electric toothbrush to keep my teeth and gums on the right track . Ever since using it, I have had nothing but clean bills of gum health at every visit. There is a lot to love about the many features of this brush.

Pop Corners– This is my go-to snack. I bought it on whim while at Whole Foods because of the low calories. When I tried it, I knew it was the sweet and salty snack I never knew I needed! Cam loves it, the kids love it, and guests that come over to the house love it too. You just have to try it. Trust me.

Pajamas– My number one ask for Christmas was for PJs. These are so so soft and I need a few more pair. They may be the comfiest, most comfortable pajamas I have ever owned.

Tangle Teezer– This brush is the real MVP for curly hair. This is what I use for Cami and Hendrix and I notice significantly less pouting when I have to comb through their hair after washing. I have tried MANY combs and brushes for curly hair and this one stands above the rest by leaps and bounds. If you or your children have curly or wavy hair, this is a wonderful choice.

ILNP– This is the longest lasting nail polish I have ever purchased. I can go a week to a week and a half without a single chip! ILNP has several colors to choose from with holographic, glitter, and metallic choices.
