As I started getting closer and closer to the delivery of our son, I noticed that our daughter Camilla was having more and more difficulty sleeping. I knew that it wouldn’t fly when the baby arrived and something needed to be done. With the help of DockATot we were able to aid Cami in kicking her sleep regression just in time for the arrival of her baby brother.
It was important to Cameron and I to do something fun with Cami this summer because it was going to be our last real opportunity for it to be our little family of three. This weekend and throughout the 4th of July week we are headed to South Padre Island and I am thrilled to be spending time with the family on the beach. I am preparing for our 6 hour drive with these 7 super easy toddler-friendly DIY road trip activities to keep Cami’s hands and mind busy.
This past weekend my daughter Camilla celebrated her 2nd birthday and it was all I could do to keep it together at the thought of my baby growing one year closer to leaving me one day for some boy. To know Cami is to know that she LOVES all things Minnie Mouse, so a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party was a no-brainer.
The subscription box thing is a huge these days! Although I don’t have a regular subscription of my own, I find myself really wanting one…or a few. The reason I don’t is because I am afraid that I will want one for EVERYTHING once I start! Recently I have been feeling the effects of always having to get new clothes for a growing child. That’s when I discovered Rockets Of Awesome.
Here’s a recap of one of my favorite times as a mom so far and that’s when we took Cami to the beach for the first time. Seeing and feeling the sand and the waves through her eyes was amazing. This also was a trip where I embraced my new “mom-bod” and wore a swim suit for the first time since having Cami!
