I thought it would be an awesome idea to have 1 wreath and just change that one for every holiday, and so, my 1 Wreath for Every Season and Holiday was born! By creating velcro panels you can just attach and detach the panel however, whenever you want! This weekend I had my patriotic panel up in remembrance of September 11th. This morning I slapped the Texans panel on because football season has begun. When I feel that first gust of fall breeze, down goes the Texans and up goes my “harvest” panel!
This Sunday marks the return of professional football and my husband and his buddies couldn’t be more excited. In thinking of a little watch party planning for the football game, I wanted to prepare something that would beat the heat but also seemed appropriate while watching some football! With the help of my ice cream maker from Zoku I made a few test ice cream sundaes that will be just in time for football Sunday! I’m GIVING AWAY an ice cream maker and ice cream recipe book so enter to win at the bottom of the post and rock at making some home made ice cream with me!
While the guys may be interested in the gridiron, I’m more interested in something with a little more sparkle! As I mentioned before, I am doing my best to style up when it comes to game day attire. With the help of Brian Gavin Diamonds I was able to polish my game day style with a few gorgeous custom creations that will have me ready for game time in no time!
For those of you that have been following along with my obsession over the Olympics, you know that part of it is all things gymnastics with an emphasis on Simone Biles. What you may not know is not only is Simone a hometown girl, but her brother Ron and I went to high school together! After going down high school memory lane, and giving me a Rio recap Ron invited my family and I to a reception welcoming home Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, and of course I accepted the invitation.
I’m changing it up a little this season. I am so over wearing jerseys and spirit shirts that are 2 sizes too big (usually I wear my husband’s shirts or shirts that were shot to us out of a cannon at a game and are almost always XL). I could not get over this graphic tee from Cents Of Style and thought it would be the perfect sentiment for football season.
