About 3 weeks ago, I got my energy back ya’ll! I thought I would never see the day when I didn’t feel like my tiny yet growing baby wasn’t sucking the life out of me, but in the words of Drake “started from the bottom now I’m here”! In honor of my newly found energy I thought it was appropriate to share the sunniest, brightest look and kick off my summer style wardrobe.
Change is hard for a lot of people. For a handful of others change is a welcomed fact of life that is moderately easy to embrace. I think that I fall in with the latter when it comes to a lot of new experiences, mainly because #yolo! I don’t proclaim to have it all figured out in the area of change but I can offer you 3 ways that I try to welcome it.
In the past 4 months Cameron and I have been to 2 countries and 6 cities over-seas. Through my travels I have learned along the way on how to do it without breaking the budget and how to do it in style. Check out my 5 tips for traveling on a budget in today’s post.
I can not mention the month of March without giving a nod to St. Patrick’s Day. Although I am not sure about the background of this holiday I do know that wearing green is a must, green beer is a “thing”, and some how leprechauns come into play. I don’t participate in the latter two, but I am always sure to wear green on March 17th to ward off pinchers. This year I teamed up with Reese Witherspoon’s brand Draper James to fashion a look perfect for Spring and St. Patrick’s Day.
Although Spring is one of my least favorite seasons (due to pollen, allergies, and rain), it is one of my favorites when it comes to fashion. I live for Spring colors and prints after a winter with dark colors and heavy fabrics. We Texas folk are fully embracing Spring 6 weeks early no matter what Puxatony Phil has to say about it. For my Spring debut I wanted something bright and floral that was easy and breezy.
