As a mom of littles, it’s my duty to get the Father’s Day gifts for my husband at least until they are the age to have a sense of what my husband really likes or needs. That, or until they start making some money! For Father’s Day this year I am relying heavily on the speed, and reliability that is Amazon (pretty much my bestie). I mean, who doesn’t love getting what you need in 2 days or less? If you are like me and want to get your significant other or your dad gifts quick, fast, and in a hurry, check out the 10 best Father’s Day gift ideas that I found on Amazon. 100% inspired by my real life baby daddy and gifts I have given him in the past as well as gifts I am giving him this year (sorry for the spoiler babe!)
1. Bidet
Listen. In my 10 years of being married, this may be the best gift I have given to Cameron. It’s the gift that keeps on giving! We have this bidet from TUSHY and I can not recommend it enough! After the toilet paper shortage in 2020 Cameron started looking into getting a bidet. I scoffed at the idea but then ended up getting him one as a sort of gag gift. Honey, let me tell you. This is no gag gift. If you want your nether-regions as clean as a whistle, you need this and the dad in your life will appreciate it too! I love having a bidet and we are going to get another for our other full bathroom.
Cameron all the sudden loves tie dye. Not the loud rainbow hippie shirts but the more subtle colors. For his birthday in March I tested the waters in getting him a pink and white spring color tie dye shirt. He loved it so much he bought himself a few more. He’s a tie dye guy now and I’m not mad at it! Before, Cameron mostly stuck to a wardrobe of black, white and grey. I love that he’s welcoming color in a funky way!
A few posts back I mentioned how Cam and I are into plants now. We have a major fly problem outside by our backyard picnic table so I had the idea of getting rid of the problem naturally with a Venus fly trap plant. I scoured the internet for the best and biggest I could find and researched what I needed to do to care for this carnivorous plant. The best one I found was on amazon! The grower sends you everything you need and step-by-step instructions on how to set it up and care for it (like maybe too detailed!) Cam loves looking at the Venus fly trap as it quickly shuts its “mouth” when a fly enters. As he grills on the patio, the fly trap catches flies right and left on the near by picnic table. Super fun to watch and a “man’s man” plant.
4. Swim Trunks
Swim trunks are a great Father’s Day gift! With Father’s Day happening at the beginning of summer, trunks are a gift he can use immediately. Whether you are going on a family vacation, frequent your neighborhood pool, or have a pool of your own swim trunks are a super practical gift for the dad in your life. I love that these come in so many great color combos.
Cam doesn’t have a full on beard, but he does have stubble. This beard trimmer from Amazon is a little somethin’ sometin’ he bought for himself out of necessity and really really loves. If the father in your life is in need of a great beard or stubble trimmer, this is the one to get! Cameron is a hard core researcher and did his due diligence before purchasing and he is glad he did. He likes this one personally because you can adjust the length levels without having to switch out parts and it also goes a lot faster and smoother than his old one.
With Disney+ cranking out the Avengers television show hits, Cameron’s need for anything avengers stays fed. On that same note, if you haven’t caught up to speed with everything that’s going on in the Marvel Universe (WandaVision, Hawkeye and the Winter Soldier) you have a month to catch up before “Loki” comes out, get going! I found the perfect Avengers T for him because…tie dye.
7. Diffuser
Like a lot of people now days, working from home is a way of life. Cameron works from home in his home office. After being holed in that office for 7+ hours a little air freshener is not a bad idea! He has had a diffuser in his office for a while and he likes the look of it as well as the smell that isn’t too overwhelming. If the father in your life has his own space in the house this diffuser might be just what he needs to bring in a little freshness.
My dentist told me to get this toothbrush. So I got it and used it for 6 months. Next dentist appointment I got glowing feedback from my dentist. No tartar build up whatsoever. She didn’t even have to do the scrape-y thing! When I flexed to Cam about my A++ appointment, it made him want to get one! Father’s Day gift? I think so!
Much like Avengers, Cam is a Star Wars enthusiast. He has a pretty consistent wardrobe of Star Wars branded merch. I found these vintage Star Wars graphic t-shirts that I think would be nice additions to his collection. Of course, a tie dye Star Wars shirt and then a super rad black Star Wars Shirt.
10. Bug-A-Salt
As I mentioned in #3, we have a lot of flies around our house, mainly outside but every now and then houseflies do what they do best, get in the house. Cam has a bug zapper thing that looks like a tennis racket, but this bug-a-salt seems like getting rid of those flies can be a lot more fun! You put regular table salt in it, get about 3-4 feet distance between you and the fly and BAM! You got yourself some Venus fly trap food! Definitely getting this for me, I mean Cam for Father’s Day.
BONUS: No Show Socks
This falls under the category of “things that men need year-round but wait til Christmas to get from their wife/kids”. When Cam asked to borrow my no-show socks the other day, I knew he was desperately out of his (his either have holes, or he lost the match). So for Father’s Day I am going to make sure I hook him up with this 7 pair pack on Amazon!
