Although Spring is one of my least favorite seasons (due to pollen, allergies, and rain), it is one of my favorites when it comes to fashion. I live for Spring colors and prints after a winter with dark colors and heavy fabrics. We Texas folk are fully embracing Spring 6 weeks early no matter what Puxatony Phil has to say about it. For my Spring debut I wanted something bright and floral that was easy and breezy. My dress from PinkBlush was just what I was looking for! In my favorite shade of blue I couldn’t go wrong and this floral chiffon maxi quickly which became one of my church-going faves.
PinkBlush is known for their maternity wear however they also have a wide selection of super cute non-maternity clothing! Many of their dresses (like the one I am wearing) and tops are perfect for transitioning postpartum. I have been out of the pregnancy game for almost two years and chose this dress which is seamlessly styled sans bump. I paired this dress with a faux suede lace-up block heel from Francesca’s that have been my go-to for comfort and style and transition perfectly (especially in Texas) from Fall to Spring. Boy it feels good to let my toes out!
I kept it simple with accessories With gold filigree drop earrings from Francesca’s, a vintage bracelet from Cheeky Vintage, and my every day watch from Daniel Wellington. But my bag tho! This boho fringe grey clutch/cross-body bag from Klutch is handmade, affordable (under $40), and from a hometown maker (yeehaw!)
But my favorite thing about this dress is the movement! If only I could travel with a wind machine whenever I put it on a la Beyoncé!
