Change is hard for a lot of people. For a handful of others change is a welcomed fact of life that is moderately easy to embrace. I think that I fall in with the latter when it comes to a lot of new experiences, mainly because #yolo! I don’t proclaim to have it all figured out in the area of change but I can offer you 3 ways that I try to welcome it.

This time of year is the perfect time to be outside. We are right in that sweet spot where it’s not too hot and it’s not too cold. It’s not quite time to come to terms with having to don a swimsuit but just the right time to join your friends at a local festival. With being in the thick of March Madness this time of year also means gatherings around the grill. Here’s what happened when this girl met the grill.

I love sharing when I hear about cool ideas or new things. Seriously. Whether it’s a new show you have to know about (This Is Us, The Crown) or the fact that you can now order groceries online and schedule to pick them up without even having to get out of the car (walmart.com/grocery) I want to tell EVERYONE…you’re welcome! Super Bowl and the City

I have to be totally honest in telling you, the Super Bowl whipped me out, and I didn’t even play in the game! Seriously, ya’ll! I am just now regrouping from all of the recipes, and cocktails, and volunteering, but it was an experience of a lifetime and I don’t regret one minute of it. What began as a fun idea to apply for the chance of working the Super Bowl after finding out that it would be in my city, Houston, snowballed into a really cool memory that I am certain my kids will think is super cool of me.
