I literally just saw someone posting about swimsuits and I was like “hold on one hot second!” Can we make it through the winter that started, um, two weeks ago before I have to get bikini-bod ready please?! Maybe I am unique in the fact that I LOVE winter clothes. I am that girl in Houston that despite the 98 degree weather in October, I am wearing boots because it’s flippin’ October! There is just something about the smell of the leather when I dust off my biker jacket, and the coziness of fleece lined everything that is just irresistible to me. As we go about the next 3.5 months of glorious winter, here are 3 Must Haves for your Winter Wardrobe to keep in mind as you stay stylish and warm.
1.Stay Warm In Neutrals
I love wearing neutrals in the winter time. Especially during those months after the holidays where everything is festive and bright. Neutrals help kick it back to “chill mode” as you coast into spring.
Neutral colors are easy to pair with your footwear too. One of my favorite combinations is grey with a brown/camel color or pairing black with brown. Outerwear like a trench coat is a great way to pull in neutrals too.
2. Accessories Are EVERYTHING
Hands down my favorite part of my winter wardrobe has to be my accessories. Wool hats, suede boots, puffy coats, and faux fur everything. In hot months it’s all about taking it off but in cold months pile it on!
3.Cozy Pieces Are A Must
Most weekends you can find me in cozy pullover. I particularly love the ones that are “teddy bear soft.” Jackets like these are easy to thrown on when you go out to run some errands or to hang out in the house. Don’t let the size fool you.
