I used to roll my eyes when I was younger when my parents would say “I was growing up so fast”. Fast forward to now, I’m a grown up with my own child who tears up every time I scroll back through my photo library and look at what was once a 10 pound 2 oz. new born. It’s crazy how that works! All I can do now is brace myself for more moments that I realize I am turning into my parents a little more each day! My now 20 month old, (that’s a year and half and some change for those of you who don’t like the month system) is now greeting her father and I when we get home with a “hey! sup?” and I can hardly deal! Now that “Miss Thang” is old enough to ask her mommy “sup?” I feel confident that she is ready to spread her wings and try new things. iQurious Kids is helping us out by providing a platform for parents to keep their kids active as they grow by providing a comprehensive list of activities for children right in your home town, and here’s how!
- There are Tons of Camps, After School Programs, and Activities
Houston is a BIG place for a little girl! The creators of iQurious Kids are parents just like you and I and have compiled the list of activities just for Houston and surrounding areas #winning! With 60 categories and over 4,000 kids camps, after school programs, and activities there is no shortage on things for your little ones to do. Fencing camp, why not?! - Parents Can Narrow the Search by Zip Code
Don’t want to drive across town? You don’t have to! In my search for activities for Camilla by my zip code, 116 activities happening on my side of town for her age group are currently happening! That’s a lot of options! From Alvin to The Heights, from Baytown to Tomball, if there is a kid’s program near you iQurious Kids has it listed.3. You Can Search by Specifying Your Child’s Age
I love this feature. No, Cami may not be ready for fencing camp yet, but I found that her age group was full of things to do (especially to get out all of her toddler energy!) This summer I have plans to get her into swim lessons and gymnastics. Thanks to my iQurious Kids search I was able to quickly narrow down which programs in my area cater to 2 year olds. This takes so much guess work and google searching out of the mix, which is awesome for a busy mom like me!
While I may not be quite ready to see my little girl grow up so quickly, I want to be sure that I can help facilitate her growth and curiosity, and allow her to try out new things! If you want to Rock at keeping your kids active, iQurious Kids is your one stop shop!
A huge thanks to iQurious Kids for sponsoring this post! All thoughts are my own and I genuinely love the platform iQurious Kids has created, I mean…who wouldn’t?!
